We recently had the opportunity to film for Solitude Mountain Resort and their ski school. We collaborated with a famous blogger family based out of Provo for the shoot, known as Mom’s Best Network. Our day was filled with an awesome excursion of the mountain, riding a lot of lifts, taking on a yeti, and more sliding and slipping than you can imagine. The staff at Solitude was amazing to work with and helped us a lot. At one point we convinced a ski instructor to take the Ronin down the mountain for a run, and for those that have operated a gimbal like the ronin know it can get heavy after a while, especially without a supporting brace. The lift operators were extremely helpful, and really worked around our needs, and had a lot of fun doing their job. We have skied Solitude before and it is a fantastic resort. Many of you may know that Solitude Ski Resort was recently purchased by Deer Valley, and you will come to recognize this as updates are underway to the resort. Up there… it’s quiet. You hear the light thrum of the chairlift at your back, a slight breeze wisps by, cold and clear. It carries the tinkle of laughter from a pack of kids down below.
